Both use a simple 1:1 mix ratio. P 7684/60 provides approximately 60 minutes of pot life at 23°C, compared with about 35 minutes for RTV-4110, giving P 7684/60 more time for mixing, degassing and controlled pouring.

Viscosity is also different. P 7684/60 publishes approximately 2,000 mPa·s Part A and 3,000 mPa·s Part B, while RTV-4110 publishes about 4,000 and 2,800 mPa·s respectively. P 7684/60 therefore has the lower Part A viscosity, while both remain pourable low-viscosity systems.

Mechanical performance favors RTV-4110 for strength. P 7684/60 publishes approximately 3 MPa tensile strength, 13 N/mm tear strength and 600% elongation, compared with 4.0±0.5 MPa, 25±0.5 N/mm and 510±50% for RTV-4110. P 7684/60 offers greater elongation, while RTV-4110 provides higher tensile and tear strength.

Application positioning is the main practical distinction. WACKER positions P 7684/60 for prosthetic liners, orthotics and skin-contact flexible applications, while RTV-4110 is more broadly suited to soft mold making and flexible reproductions.
