Life Casting Liquid Silicone is a two-component, addition-cure (platinum-catalyzed) material that can be easily colored. Once parts A and B are mixed together, they can quickly cure at room temperature. The cured silicone rubber is incredibly soft, elastic, and capable of accurately reproducing intricate details. This high performance silicone has a skin-like feel, can be stretched to multiple times its original size without tearing, and will spring back to its original shape without deformation.

Application Examples

The most notable feature of life-casting silicone is its high level of realism and detail, making it an ideal choice for creating realistic masks and dolls. Its superior physical properties and softness also make it useful in orthopedic applications. The high elongation of this very soft silicone allows it to be used in animatronics for creating special effects skins, and it excels where extreme flexibility and repetitive motion are required.

Life-casting silicone is the process of creating a three-dimensional copy of a living human body, using molding and casting techniques. Our product is recommended for creating soft silicone products such as sex toys, silicone dolls, silicone masks, human organs, castings for museums, medical training aids, shoulder pads, prosthetics, and more.

Attention

Please ensure that Part A and Part B of the same model and lot number are used together. If different lots are used, suitability should be determined by testing.

Please note that while our life-casting silicone is skin-safe, everyone is different, and it is recommended to ensure that the model does not have an allergic reaction to the silicone before applying it to their body.

Our life-casting liquid silicone has low viscosity and can naturally eliminate air bubbles. However, to achieve the best results, vacuum degassing is still recommended.

All life-casting liquid silicone are susceptible to cure inhibition when in contact with certain materials and chemicals. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to check the mixing containers, mold construction materials, originals, and release agents for any inhibition effects before use.

Safety

Under normal storage and handling conditions, these products remain stable in airtight containers at room temperature and do not undergo any hazardous reactions.

Please keep products out of the reach of children.

First Aid Measures:

  • Skin Contact: Wash the affected area thoroughly with soap and water. Seek medical attention if symptoms occur after washing.
  • Eye Contact: In the event of contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation persists after washing.
  • Inhalation: Under normal conditions of intended use, this material is not expected to be an inhalation hazard.
  • Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting unless instructed by a physician. Rinse mouth thoroughly. Seek medical attention if symptoms occur.

Storage

We recommend storing materials at room temperature (15 to 25°C / 60 to 77°F). Storing them at higher temperatures will reduce the usable shelf life of unused material. However, storage beyond the date specified on the certificate of analysis does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In such cases, it is important to check the quality assurance requirements to ensure that the required properties are still present for the intended use.

Life-casting liquid silicone has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of production. These products have a limited shelf life and should be used as soon as possible. As the storage time increases, the viscosity of the liquid silicone will also increase accordingly.

Containers that have been opened should be carefully resealed to prevent any leaks. Store them in a cool, dry place with sufficient ventilation and keep them away from incompatible materials such as bases and acids, as well as open flames and high temperatures.
