Both use a 1:1 mixing ratio. P 7600 provides approximately 27 minutes of pot life at 23°C, while RTV-4030 provides about 30–40 minutes. RTV-4030 also publishes lower component viscosities, which can simplify manual mixing and pouring.

The main mechanical difference is tear strength. P 7600 publishes 1.5 N/mm tear strength and 600% elongation, while RTV-4030 publishes 6±0.5 N/mm tear strength and 560±50% elongation. P 7600 therefore favors softness and maximum stretch, while RTV-4030 provides substantially greater tear resistance.

Application positioning also differs. WACKER positions P 7600 for orthotics, prosthetics, skin-contact applications and flexible molding, while RTV-4030 is positioned for lifecasting, prosthetics, special effects and other soft reproduction work. Both materials are intended for flexible mold applications, but direct skin-contact use should always follow the applicable manufacturer instructions and safety requirements. For either product, compatibility with the intended master and casting material should be confirmed before production.
